Nancy loves the children in the Anlong Veng home in
Cambodia. She wanted to do something special for them, so
she called her advisor at Warm Blankets Orphan Care in
October and set a goal for her church to raise about $4,000
for a well by January 2010.
She was thinking big, because their church is located in an
area hit extra hard by the recession. It’s a good thing we
serve a big God! Through coin drives and special offerings,
by the time January arrived, a team of churches were sending
over $5,000 and are now working towards providing a solar
generator, too! The needs of the orphans are not in recession,
good thing God always provides!
What do homes like the Anlong Veng home need?
Are there other homes in need of a well?
Where else does WBOCI care for orphans and widows?
I want to learn more! How do I get started?
